What a bunch of lame ducks. Ya'll whining about the refs calling heavy handedly against the Rage. HAHA. Again you guys are ridiculous. Its pretty obvious to me that neither you rageman, nor rageaholic (proper spelling should probably be rageoholic...but who's keeping track), are any kind of true fan.
Take a look at the game by game stats for the Eagles vs. the rage if you want to see where the calling went. Can we say SIDED WITH THE rAGE?? Take a look at the side-by-side stats. There were 12 games played between the Eagles and the rage. The Eagles spent a total of 352 minutes in the box while the rage only had 251. In other words, for those of you rage fans who can't quite figure simple math, the Eagles averaged 25 minutes in the box per game while the whining (ooh poor us...it's everyone elses fault) rage only averaged 20 (stats taken from Eagles vs. Rage breakdown on pointstreak.com if you don't believe me). For you hockey stat ignoramuses it also breaks down to the Eagles spending 8 minutes more (on average) in the the box per game. Yet, at the end of the season, the Eagles still kept an even penalty kill average against the rage...sad sad sad. The stats should be tipped...the percentages should be in favor of the rage. They had 4x (4x means "4 times" in case my comment is to advanced for you) the amount of scoring opportunities through penalty minutes each and every game against the Eagles. However, it can't be their fault...it has to be the refs. Yea, thats it! The refs are bad...rage good...refs bad.
Quit blaming others for the poor playing of an inferior team. The Eagles are just a better team. The proof is in the stats. If any team should have been taken back by the stripes and their calling in Eagles vs. rage matches it should be the Eagles. Yet we stand tall and take the higher road (cough cough...play off spot...cough cough). All I can do is shake my head at you "fan" wannabes and thank my lucky stars I found a real hockey team to stand behind.
Seriously, If I were on the rage team I would probably be spending my off season trying to find loopholes that would get me out of my contract.
